@ 1184 Lot and the punishment of his indecent nation 27:54-59
27:54 And Lot, he said to his nation, 'Do you commit indecencies with your eyes open!
# وَلُوطاً إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الفَاحِشَةَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ 54
27:55 Do you approach men lustfully instead of women! No, you are an ignorant nation.'
# أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاءِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ 55
27:56 Yet the only answer of his nation was that they said, 'Expel the family of Lot from your village, they are people who purified themselves!'
# فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا آلَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ 56
27:57 So We saved him and his family, except his wife, whom We decreed should stay behind.
# فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الغَابِرِينَ 57
27:58 And we rained on them a rain (of stones); indeed it is an evil rain that rains on those that are warned.
# وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَراً فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ المُنذَرِينَ 58
